Two Years in Business and No Signs of Slowing Down: 2018, a year of expansion for KLAPR
Since the start of K. Loughrey & Associates just two short years ago, we’ve landed our clients in national magazines and on national TV shows. We’ve coordinated killer events and told the world about our clients and the stories that make them special. We’ve celebrated with our clients as they’ve hit company milestones and have enjoyed every bit of the journey with them along the way.
Recently celebrating our second anniversary in business, we’ve experienced a lot of growth and we don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. We’ve built a team of talented PR pros who do what it takes to earn for our clients the recognition that they deserve. We’ve also had the opportunity to work with and mentor amazing young interns. And, as we close out the first month of 2018, we have some major business announcements to share while we move into a year of expansion.
We’re thrilled to announce a new member of the KLAPR team, Laura Murphy. With over fifteen years of public relations experience and two Addy Awards for her outstanding work, she’s promoted brands ranging from food and beverage and real estate to healthcare and non-profit. She’s launched national campaigns and is well-versed in building valuable connections and maintaining successful client relationships. Laura, now the Director of New Business Development, is taking the lead in overseeing K. Loughrey & Associates’ community outreach, company branding, social media platforms and building our client base. When she’s not doing that, she’ll be enjoying time with her husband and two daughters, trips to the beach and taking in the culinary scene.
As we continue to build our team and client base in Charleston, 2018 will bring expansion to surrounding southeastern cities. Part of this plan includes the opening of a second office location in Greenville, SC, slated for late spring. The new office location, along with the addition of new and seasoned team members, will allow K. Loughrey & Associates to provide the continued individualized support to Charleston clients and beyond.
This year is going to be our biggest and best year yet, and we can’t wait to see what it will bring for our clients and for us as we continue to do what we love.
